An LBP is a trade professional who has been assessed and licensed by the government to carry out or supervise certain types of building work that affect the structure, weathertightness, or safety of a building.

What is the Master Builders Association?

They set the benchmark for craftsmanship, safety, and integrity across the industry — and their Master Build Guarantee gives homeowners confidence that every detail is built to last.
What is Site Safe?
They don’t issue building licenses (like LBPs) or trade memberships (like NZCB). Instead, they provide training, resources, and auditing to make sites safer.
Founded in 1999, Site Safe’s mission is to reduce injuries and fatalities in construction by improving workplace health and safety practices.
The HALO 10-Year Residential Guarantee is a building warranty product that comes with homes built by members of the New Zealand Certified Builders (NZCB) association.
What is the HALO Guarantee?
It applies to new homes, alterations, and additions when done by an NZCB member.
